The Power Of Anger
Live! August 12Â @ 7:00 pm EST
What if your anger is rooted in your power?
What if the very emotion you've spent your life trying to suppress is actually the key to stronger boundaries, healthier relationships, and a more powerful, authentic life?
Most of us have been taught that anger is wrong.
That it's something to hide.
Something to control.
Especially as women, we've learned that being kind means staying quiet, keeping the peace, and putting everyone else's needs before our own. So we smile and say "yes" when we want to say "no." We avoid the conflict and swallow our frustration.
Over time, we become exhausted and RESENTFUL.
We become used to disconnecting from our anger.
You say to yourself, “I’m just not an angry person.” But you’re quietly simmering on the inside.Â
Let's Talk About ItWhat if your anger was never wrong?
What if your anger is actually one of the wisest emotions you have?
True anger is not about attack. It's not about losing control.
When understood and channeled correctly, anger brings great clarity.
It helps you recognize when something isn't okay.
It gives you the courage to protect what matters.
It supports you in creating healthy boundaries, speaking your truth, and honoring your needs without abandoning your values of kindness and compassion.
Join me in this conversation that will invite you to see anger through an entirely different lens.
If you've ever found yourself...
🔥 Saying "yes" when every part of you wanted to say "no."
🔥 Feeling guilty whenever you try to set a boundary.
🔥 Carrying resentment you don't know what to do with.
🔥 Avoiding conflict even when something feels deeply unfair.
🔥 Wondering why you keep putting yourself last.
🔥 Feeling emotionally exhausted from always taking care of everyone else.
🔥 Trying to stay positive while quietly feeling frustrated inside.
🔥 Or you secretly have road rage…
...this conversation is for you.
Because beneath those experiences is an emotion far more valuable than you've ever imagined.
Together we'll explore...
- Why so many women struggle with boundaries—even when they know they need them.
- How people-pleasing quietly disconnects you from your own needs.
- Why anger has been misunderstood for generations.
- The surprising relationship between anger, self-respect, and personal power.
- What healthy, wise anger actually looks like.
- A practical framework for responding to anger in a way that creates clarity instead of conflict.
You'll leave with a completely new perspective on one of the most misunderstood emotions we experience.
This isn't about becoming angry and blowing up.
It's about connecting to your power.
About becoming more grounded.
More sovereign.
It's about learning to recognize what your emotions have been trying to tell you all along—and discovering that the strength you've been searching for may already be living within you.
When anger is understood instead of suppressed...
Boundaries become clearer.
Relationships become healthier.
Resentment begins to soften.
And your energy becomes available for creating the life you actually want to live.

Hi, I’m Morella Devost. I'm a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (among many other things you can read in my about page) and I've been in private practice since 2007.
Anger comes up in therapy A LOT!
I am incredibly passionate about it because I see far too many people struggle with anger. And when we don't allow, understand and express our anger appropriately, we continue to add to the distortions that the collective of humanity has about anger.Â
We all need to support each other to get in touch with our anger and serve as role models for each other, in order to help the next generations have a healthier relationship and embodiment of anger.
Imagine what could change if...
✔ You could say "no" without carrying guilt for days.
✔ You trusted yourself when something didn't feel right.
✔ You stopped apologizing for taking up space.
✔ You could honor your needs without feeling selfish.
✔ You no longer feared your emotions, but understood how to work with them wisely.
✔ This isn't about becoming someone different.
✔ It's about reclaiming a part of yourself that has always been there.
