THE DAY FACEBOOK TOLD ME I WAS "UNDESIRABLE"

A few weeks ago, as I was promoting my spring detox (mostly because I wanted to do a detox and I know that doing it with a group keeps me more committed and inspired :), I decided to post about it on Facebook.

I created a post on my business page and then clicked on the boost button, which is a form of paid advertising. Sometimes they review the post to be sure it's not offensive or against FB policy and then they approve it.

A few hours after boosting my post, I got notice that it was not approved because it violated FB policy.

I was puzzled. Why was it not approved? What about it violated their policy?

A DRINK FOR LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE

My eyes tend to get puffy. It's a family trait.

If my diet isn't on point, I can count on my eyelids to be puffy on most mornings. After a while, they typically come down, but it's something I'd rather not have.

Under-eye puffiness is a symptom of improper lymphatic drainage of the face. If you gently massage your face it starts improving after a while.

IF YOU WANT EPIC HEALTH... GET OUT OF YOUR JAMMIES!

I just got back from an epic adventure in Cincinnati. You know the type of experience that leaves you feeling forever changed? That's the kind of experience I had.

And it was all in the context of attending a storytelling workshop, facilitated by storyteller & copywriter extraordinaire, Stella Orange.

I learned about telling stories.

THE MOTIVATION OF ACHIEVEMENT

This past weekend I earned my first, second and third Capoeira cordas (the colored belts, as in any other martial art.)

Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that developed in the slave camps as a way to train to fight for freedom, while disguising it as dancing and singing. Learning capoeira requires learning to play the instruments, sing the songs, hold the "axe" (energy) and obviously play in the center of the circle.  In capoeira, it's called playing; not sparring or fighting.

9 TOOLS FOR SPRING RENEWAL

Happy spring!

Spring is the time for re-emerging. It's also the season to clear the winter cobwebs and get ready for the buzzing months of growth and harvesting ahead.

I like to think of how much we actually are a part of nature, and play with the idea that what happens in nature is also applicable to us.

What if like tulips, we can blossom from the same bulb into a completely new flower each year?
