BELIEFS THAT RUIN YOUR HEALTH... AND YOUR LIFE...

In the past week, one of my clients has had a MASSIVE breakthrough. She's discovered something that was very deeply hidden. She's uncovered the heart of her health issues.

I share her story because chances are, it will also click with something in you.

Here's her story. I've modified parts of it to keep her privacy. We'll call her Rose.

TWO KATHY'S, AN APPENDIX, A NEW HEART... AND A QUESTION?

Just this weekend I learned that my friend Kathy (with a K), who had been rushed to the hospital because of an appendix attack, was recovering from something much more serious.

Initially she thought it was only really bad menstrual cramps, which wasn't unusual for her. She learned the truth of the offending appendix at the ER when the pain got too intense. Off she went into surgery. She'd have a quick appendectomy and be set!

THIS QUESTION WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE

On Sunday I received a message that threw me into a tailspin of feeling sorry for myself. Within five minutes of receiving the message, I was in tears. Why would this happen to me?

Then I caught myself. I know enough about emotions that I could see the story I was telling myself in my head. It was the story that was fueling the feelings of self pity.

So then I asked the most powerful question I have ever asked.

WHY WE OVEREAT

How was your Thanksgiving holiday? Still eating leftovers?

There was a time in my life when the holidays (or any social occasions, for that matter) were tacit permission for free-rein eating.

I would eat as much as I could until I reached the point of physical pain. The discomfort of being too full was the only thing that stopped me from continuing to eat.
